The third quarter of 2022 saw diverse performance trends among the top five navigation and maps applications in Algeria. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active user metrics for these popular apps.

Google Earth had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 18K in late June and peaking at 33K in early September. Active users hovered around 160K to 170K, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

GPS Area Measurements experienced a significant rise in downloads, reaching a high of 32K by early August. Revenue saw modest spikes, achieving $7 in mid-August and again in mid-September. Active user numbers were robust, peaking at over 80K in late July before stabilizing around 70K.

GPS+ Maps, Navigation, Traffic displayed fluctuating download numbers, with a peak of 11K in early August. Active users also varied, reaching a high of 15K in late July and gradually declining to around 6K by the end of September.

MAPS & GPS Voice Navigation showed an upward trend in downloads, peaking at 10K in early August. Active users increased steadily, peaking at 44K in early August before experiencing minor fluctuations.

Google Maps Go maintained a consistent download rate, with a peak of 7K in mid-August. Active users remained strong throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 335K in mid-August before a gradual decline to around 285K by the end of September.
